At Second Edit, we have always enforced strict safety and hygiene standards across our workplaces, including the warehouse and pop-up locations.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, our business remains committed to complying with local government regulations to ensure the safety and health for both our employees and customers. Operations have been adapted to run leaner as we stagger shifts to allow for fewer people to work at one time in order to accommodate precautionary social distancing measures.
Below are an example of some of the hygiene and safety measures we have implemented in light of COVID-19:
- All operational staff have been provided thermometers and are required to take and report their temperatures readings upon arrival at the warehouse.
- All operational staff have been provided with surgical masks, hand sanitizers and gloves, as well as instructed on proper methods of disposal after use.
- All employees are required to remain vigilant and observe good personal hygiene, such as frequently washing and sanitizing their hands to practicing proper disposal of masks and gloves used.
